Hal Jordan goes missing, Krona comes back, and the end of Emerald Twilight gets a facsimile edition. These are the 4 Green Lantern books DC has solicited for November 2026.

DC's November 2026 solicitations have 4 Green Lantern books: new issues of all 3 ongoing series, plus a facsimile of the issue that ended Emerald Twilight.

Green Lantern Corps #21 closed on a tease for a crossover called First Light, and I'd bet November is where it kicks into gear. Hal Jordan is missing, Guy Gardner and Kyle Rayner are going after him, and Krona is back.

On sale dates:

  • November 4: Absolute Green Lantern #20
  • November 11: Green Lantern Corps #22
  • November 25: Green Lantern #41 and Green Lantern #50 Facsimile Edition

Absolute Green Lantern #20

On sale: November 4, 2026
Price: $4.99, 32 pages
Writer: Al Ewing
Artist: Sid Kotian
Covers: Jahnoy Lindsay, Davide Paratore, Aka, Martin Simmonds

Jo Mullein and the other Lanterns return from space to find things not quite how they left them. Can the lanterns navigate this new threat that's bearing down on them?

That's all DC is giving us. "Not quite how they left them" could mean almost anything in a book where Hal Jordan's power damages whatever he touches.

The credits are the bigger news. Jahnoy Lindsay drew and colored #18 and #19, and for #20 he's on the main cover with Sid Kotian on interiors. I don't know yet whether that's a fill-in or a handoff. If you're behind, our review of Volume 1 covers how the series started.

Green Lantern Corps #22

On sale: November 11, 2026
Price: $3.99, 32 pages
Writer: Morgan Hampton
Artists: Fernando Pasarín and Oclair Albert
Covers: Fernando Pasarín and Oclair Albert, Ramon Villalobos, Juan José Ryp

Guy Gardner and Kyle Rayner have entered the Well of the Emotional Entities in a desperate attempt to find Hal Jordan, who is lost in the universe following a cryptic hint from the Book of Oa. They'll need the new chromatic Alpha Lanterns to work together and manage their powers to face what's on the other side: the decrepit surviving Guardians of the Universe and the monstrous reborn Krona!

Pasarín and Albert drew Green Lantern Corps #1 back in February 2025, so the launch art team is back on interiors. They picked a big issue to come back for.

Krona is the renegade Guardian who kicked off War of the Green Lanterns by putting Parallax back in the Central Power Battery, and Hal killed him at the end of it. "Reborn" is doing a lot of work in that solicit.

The chromatic Alpha Lanterns are new. I'm guessing they come out of the Lanterns Jessica Cruz recruited for the Alpha Guardians in #21.

Green Lantern #41

On sale: November 25, 2026
Price: $4.99, 32 pages
Writer: Jeremy Adams
Artist: Scott Godlewski
Covers: Fernando Pasarín and Oclair Albert, David Nakayama, Ariel Olivetti, Dan Hipp

Of course, Hal Jordan didn't wait for backup to start a fight! But when backup arrives, before the tide can turn, the entire ocean flips over. The source of the voice summoning Hal Jordan to the end of the emotional electromagnetic spectrum is revealed! And the Lanterns will never be the same!

Corps #22 lands 2 weeks earlier with Guy and Kyle out looking for Hal, so I'd guess they're the backup. Read them in release order.

I have no idea what an entire ocean flipping over looks like, and I want to see Scott Godlewski draw it.

"The Lanterns will never be the same!" is standard solicit hype. It does come out the same day DC reprints the one time that line was true.

Green Lantern #50 Facsimile Edition

On sale: November 25, 2026
Price: $4.99, 48 pages
Writer: Ron Marz
Artist: Darryl Banks
Cover: Darryl Banks

Driven mad with grief and determined to take back all he has lost, Hal Jordan has come to Oa to steal the very power of the Guardians. Set against him is Sinestro, Hal's former mentor and greatest adversary. It's the battle to the death that will determine the future of Hal, the Corps, the Guardians, and the Green Lantern legacy for all time. See the birth of Parallax and the debut of an all-new Green Lantern as Emerald Twilight concludes!

Green Lantern #50 first came out in 1994 (cover dated March) with 48 pages, a $2.95 price tag and a glow-in-the-dark cover. It's the last chapter of Emerald Twilight. Hal has already killed Kilowog in #49, and here he kills Sinestro, absorbs the Central Power Battery, and leaves Ganthet holding the last ring. Ganthet gives it to Kyle Rayner in an alley with "You shall have to do."

It's one of the most argued-about issues in Green Lantern history, and Green Lantern: Rebirth spent 6 issues explaining it away a decade later. DC's facsimile editions reprint the original issue, ads and all. The solicit doesn't say whether the glow-in-the-dark cover is coming back. I hope it is.

The timing is fun, too. Kyle gets his ring in this issue the same month he's crawling through the Well of the Emotional Entities in Corps #22. If you want the 32 years in between, start with our Kyle Rayner reading order.

Circle November 25. Green Lantern #41 and the Emerald Twilight facsimile land the day before Thanksgiving, which is a lot of Hal Jordan for one Wednesday.
