Sinestro builds a Corps of his own around the yellow light of fear, backed by Parallax, the Anti-Monitor, Cyborg Superman and Superman-Prime, and declares war on the Green Lanterns. Kyle Rayner is taken as Parallax's new host, Mogo becomes a battlefield, and the Guardians finally let their Lanterns use lethal force.
It's the event that made modern Green Lantern a phenomenon, and the story that opened up the whole emotional spectrum. Its last chapter reveals the Blackest Night prophecy.
