Ganthet is the Guardian who has always believed in emotion. When the Corps was destroyed in the 1990s, he gave the last ring to Kyle Rayner.
Ganthet and his partner Sayd were later exiled from the Guardians, and together they founded the Blue Lantern Corps of hope.
