The Citadel rules the Vega system and sells its rare metal to thousands of worlds. Kyle Rayner, the White Lantern, is sent to broker a deal, loses his ring, and is kidnapped by the Omega Men, rebels the Citadel calls terrorists. They fake his death and make him see what the empire has done.
Tom King and Barnaby Bagenda's story is about freedom, faith, propaganda and political violence. It's as much a political science fiction thriller as a Green Lantern book, and one of the most ambitious stories Kyle has been part of.
