Absolute Green Lantern

In DC's Absolute Universe, a giant green lantern descends on the small town of Evergreen, Nevada, seals it under a dome, and an alien calling himself Abin Sur starts passing judgment on the people inside. Jo Mullein, Hal Jordan and John Stewart are among them. Jo comes away with strange new powers, and Hal with something much darker.

Al Ewing and Jahnoy Lindsay reinvent the whole mythology, including the spectrum, so no Green Lantern knowledge is needed. It's outside the main continuity and still ongoing.
